Laprice Du Cat has shown both hunter and jumper at RMSJ with top placings in the hunter ring and consistent clear rounds in the jumpers.  Cat has a very easy temperament and loves the horse show.  She is very brave and shows easy scope free jumping. 

 

Cat is a very funny and friendly horse.  She likes to be in the know of everything that is happening on the farm and is a natural born leader.  Full of confidence, she makes riding so fun.  Her best qualities are her natural balance and rhythm.

 

Cat is very easy in the barn and stands for bathing, farrier and clipping.  She is calm and collected always.  She has clean radiographs and has always been sound. 

 

Laprice Du Cat was purchased by Alpine Show Jumpers as a 3 yr old.   We are very excited to be able to develop such a quality horse.  I have watched with amazement as her full sister moves into small GP ring already as a 7 yr old.  Laprice is sired by the stallion Zeno, who had a career as both an open hunter and a world class international jumper up to 1.60m.  Her dam, Beya Cat is by Tempranillo who competed to the 1.40m and her mother was imported from Holland.  This strong mother line has produced a mare that sold at a select sale for 360,000 euros as a 5 yr old as well as produced numerous 1.30 and up jumpers. 

 

Laprice has such an easy way of going that she is suitable for anyone.  Open Hunter or Grand Prix Jumper, Laprice can truly go in any direction.
