Through hard work and honest relations we have become a "must-stop" stable on many professionals list to find the perfect Canadian or imported horse.

Our training program promotes a fun and balanced approach to classic horsemanship for competitive horses and riders.  We believe that success is based on setting goals and achieving personal bests for both horse and rider.  A structured, stress-free training environment that includes dressage, gymnastics, and trail riding is the only way to build a strong partnership for the show jumping ring.

We are also passionate about developing horses for the sport.  We with horses of all stages of development from green-breaking to the Grand Prix ring.

Olivia Stirling

Olivia brings a sense of balance not only to her work, but to the atmosphere at Alpine. She has been part of Alpine Show Jumpers for nearly 10 years, from student to assistant trainer, and shares Andreas’s philosophy that the horse is always the teacher. Her approach is grounded in the belief that there is always a fair and neutral way to work with them.

She finds joy and fulfillment in knowing there is always something to learn and grow from at the barn — no two days are the same, as each horse tells its own story. She believes that the best outcome for a horse’s success comes from having a system in place and receiving true horsemanship. Working alongside the Alpine team, Olivia looks forward to continuing to expand her horsemanship and training, while already developing many young prospects.

Outside the barn, you’ll find Olivia crocheting and hiking, as she enjoys being creative and staying active.

Adelaide: Apprentice

Adelaide Harris

Adelaide has been riding horses since she was born, following in her mother Andrea’s footsteps, while continuing to create a path of her own. She brings so much joy to Alpine and her work. From riding casually to now riding competitively, she is actively learning to become an adaptable rider, riding different horses and disciplines while gaining milage in both the hunter and jumper show rings.

When Adeliade isn’t riding, you’ll still find her at the barn, where she spends most of her time. She believes in staying open to each horse and their individual needs — beyond what you see in the ring. Spending time with them on the ground — simply being with them — braiding, grooming, and taking the time to build a true connection between horse and rider.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and crocheting.

What People Say

My friends and clients know that when we show up at Alpine Show Jumpers, that we are going to see quality horses at fair market prices. Andrea pays very close attention to the smallest details. If you are shopping for a hunter, you will find her hunters turned out as if they were ready to walk into the show ring; braided and in their finest hunter gear. Andrea is always honest, accommodating and such a delight to do business with. Andrea understands the stresses of horse sales from the owners and the buyers perspective so she always goes above and beyond to ensure smooth transactions. She is the consummate professional, a beautiful rider and a lovely human being. Her horses are always of the highest quality, and I am yet to find a single hole in one of them. I can’t say enough great things about her, that is why Alpine Show Jumpers is always be a destination for our horse buying needs.
