2018

Ozark is a 2018 Canadian Warmblood gelding that is being started under saddle spring 2021.  He has started basic handling and lunging.  Ozark is a very friendly willing horse.  At this phase of his training he is showing a lovely willingness to learn.  He is a naturally quick horse with very nice movement.  In free jumping Ozark shows us bravery, style and technique.  Alpine is very excited developing this fantastic young horse.

Alpine acquired Ozark as a yearling as we saw an opportunity to own such an interesting horse.  His pedigree stood out to me as he is by the stallion Valentino.  Valentino is in the top 1% of all the German breeding sires.  In 2005 he was reserve champion of the Adelsheidsdorf stallion performance test, handily winning the jumping portion and awarded elite status.  He went on to compete as a young horse and proceeded up the ranks to the S level.  Valentino has produced and continues to be a producer of top horses both in Europe and North America. 

 

Ozark's dam brings Corland x Fantast to the pedigree showing he is a well-rounded horse with breeding to support dreams of a serious future horse.

Ozark will be a very interesting horse for someone looking for a top jumper/eventing horse to develop.  Alpine is willing to continue developing Ozark for sport as he is an interesting investment opportunity.
