Sometimes the best things come in small packages.  Chief is a small bay Zangersheide gelding acquired May 2020 un started.  This awesome horse is catching up with the other horses his age very quickly.  He is jumping courses at home and ready to begin his show career now in 2021.  He has a brave bold stride with the best technique over the fence in our barn.  His passion is jumping. 

 

Chief is quiet and friendly in the barn with a laid back personality.  Under saddle he is quick to learn and willing to please and solve problems with an open mind.  His bold attitude and big presence and confidence makes him stand out in the crowd.  He is a nice mover and has a feel in the air over the jumps that is unparalleled. 

 

Chief is by the astonishing stallion Chopin.  Chopin himself jumped 1.60m with Christian Ahlmann of Germany and was responsible for helping him achieve his world #1 ranked show jumper.  Chopin has classic holsteiner foundation lines of Capito I x Caletto II.  Chopin is a proven producer with offspring in the international ring.  

Chief’s dam is a Thoroughbred mare.

 

Chief has a huge heart and huge jump and will suit any intermediate rider ready to win.  He free jumps easy 1.40m and his quick step will surely have him in the winners circle.  Do not over look this horse if you are seeking a future star in show jumping or 3-day eventing.
